ONI at Fushion Fridays! and UPCOMING EVENTS!

2010 is starting with a BANG BABY!

You are cordially invited to a pre-Grammy party at Cabana in Hollywood for their “Fusion Friday” event where ONI was asked to represent as a new and hot upcoming designer.  HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

NEXT month Feb 26th/27th ONI is having our BUYERS FASHION SHOW at KRESS in Hollywood.  This is one of THE prettiest venues I’ve ever seen, it’s going to be a huge event and a great party! We are still looking for 2/3 more male models for the show, so hit us up if you are/know someone. The event is being sponsored by A la Mode hair Studio(add their group page) and THE UEP.

NEWS NEWS: If you haven’t been on the site for a while check out our Press Kit, we just added a couple new things last week and there is more to come!  ONI also just found out yesterday that our tees are being used in not ONE but TWO BIG videos that will be on MTV etc.

I AM VERY EXCITED and I feel very blessed for all that has come to fruition and all that is to come!

Thanks for the support!

Lea Michele’s Oscar de la Renta gown

Black doesn’t always picture well, mostly in the rain and on the red carpet… it always helps to have a little bling so that you pop in a photo. However, Lea Michele’s black dress, regardless of the lack of bling was stunning, in awe of detail, and fit like a glove.  We definitely think she got looked over, but she gets props from us… her whole look was classic and pulled together very well.  Simple and elegant.

#1 BEST DRESSED

#5 Best Dressed: Kate Hudson wears a Marchesa strapless silk crepe gown, & Casadei’s Signature 3504 triple platform pump. A lot of people were a little freaked by this getup but I thought she looked like a piece of art.

#4 Best Dressed: Emily Blunt chose a pink tulle and chiffon strapless gown with ruffle detail by Dolce & Gabbana. She looks like a dream, we love it.

#3 Best Dressed: Anna Paquin in a gold Stella McCartney gown with a plunging neckline. I feel like I’ve seen it before… but regardless she def stole the show. HOT.

#2 Best Dressed: Sandra Bullock in her Bottega Veneta chiffon gown.  Not only is this woman hilarious and talented but she knows a good dress when she sees one! I would seriously get marries in this dress… the fabric is to DIE>LOVE.

#1 BEST DRESSED: Drew Barrymore in her Atelier Versace nude gown with shoulder and hip crystal embellishments. We don’t care what anyone says we LOVE this gown and give it an A++.

Golden, no. Silver maybe.

Versace Gown
Carolina Herrara Gown

Christian Lacroix Gown

The celebs did good this season I have to admit… but there were a few cases where I really just wasn’t sure if I hated their dress or loved it! No hurt in giving away “second best” awards right?? LOL As seen above: Christina Aguilera’s Versace Gown fit like a glove, was very sexy, “new” and very in trend with a hint of bling; the reason I’m on the fence with this dress is due to the fact that the very tan singer with blonde hair blends into her dress and it washes her out.  All in all Christina… kudos on the boobs and the new hair-DO> next time wear black.  NEXT we have Sofia Vergara who is wearing amazing Carolina Herrara Gown, the color combo is sharp and original, the design is beautiful… my only concern is the texture of the fabric vs. the fit… it’s slightly ill-fitting, and bunches in too many areas making the dress look more complicated than it already is. Final Verdict: C+.  Last we have Diane Kruger (who ever she is HA-HA) in a BRIGHT pink Christian Lacroix Gown; now this dress is FAB, couture chic, maybe a little premature with the pink this season but bright and pretty regardless… my only problem is that it’s such an intense dress and I don’t think she had the confidence to pull it off… shame.  Now…. on to the BEST dressed….
