Don’t you wish you had millions of dollars…
I’m obsessed with this dress!
Nina Dobrev took on the black-and-white trend in a Naeem Khan gown that featured the two-toned bold print and a sexy open-back detail. A little obsessed with both this dress and her. WANT> in my closet. today.
OSCARS BEST DRESSED!
This time around everyone really brought their A game! Good job, good job. I mean to be honest I never really understand when they don’t get it right… they have people dressing them… hello!? My favorite though was definitely Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior Couture dress and backwards diamond necklace. Even if the dress caused her to fall… still worth it. xo
GRAMMY’S BEST DRESSED.

Emmy’s best dressed!
G.G.G. = Golden Gucci Gown
At first glance, Anne Hathaway’s Gucci gown which she adorned to the London Premiere of The Dark Knight seems airy and fairly simple, which yes, in good assessment is still true. However if you pay close attention the entirety of the dress is covered in pearls, and the floral decoration on the neck is silk and jeweled hand made flowers. I am also obsessed with the armhole that cuts down to the waist; a silhouette that I sometime find myself creating for the runway. This dress is absolute perfection.
The ROW.
Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen premiered their new collection of The Row (seen above) and well… I have mixed feelings. There are things that I absolutely LOVE about this collection, it’s simplicity, the colors, and the fabrics… the sheer elements alone with classic silk trousers… amazing. But, haven’t we seen this all before from The Row? The simplicity, the sandals, and almost dull in tranquility of styling. Not mention… most women can not wear boxy silhouettes no matter how much they are in trend. Then again this line was designed by two woman the size of my bra cup. Thoughts? Yay or nay?
Fashion trends that need to die ASAP.
Usually I don’t do the “i hate this” blog post, but I just saw a woman in Starbucks who had on feather earrings, cut-offs and Jeffrey Campbell “Lita’s” and it pushed me over the edge lol.
1.) The Jeffrey Campbell “Lita”. Once upon a time I loved this shoe… and I still sort of love this shoe if it’s in a print or novelty fabric. HOWEVER… this shoe is SO over exposed on the web, Instagram, blogs, fashion events… and all over the streets of Los Angeles. Women are walking all over town with horse like hoofs for feet! The worst is when you see someone with an awful, ill fitted outfit paired with the JC’s… it’s like a runway model got robbed by the fashion illiterate. Over it.
2.) Feather… anything. Do I even need to elaborate? Feathers are for birds and Alexander McQueen… not your face. Over it.
3.) Bow tie necklaces. Yes fashion should be playful and fun… but when every other person is walking around town with these on it’s time to pass them on to your younger sister, dog or wait the 4 year trend circle for them to come back around. Over it.
Apologies if I am offending anyone with my opinions… now go take those feather earring OFF.

Kanye does Run-waye.
Kanye West debuts his runway collection in Paris… and well… I am pleasantly surprised. It’s not that I didn’t think Kanye could actually conceptualize a good collection, but more so that it wouldn’t be cohesive. The collective in total in very cohesive, has good texture, fits into trend and has some unexpected elements such as whip like belts and matching belted up boots. I do however feel as if I have seen this collection before, the sort of ode to a female modern day warrior… while it is imaginative and strong I would say that it is not original, and a lot of the pieces look like they could fit right into Kim Kardashian’s closet or perhaps on sale at Barney’s. (seeing as most people don’t have the desire or funds to spend 3k on a fur top nowa days lol) In total I’d say… I’m interested to see what he dreams up for NEXT season.
